Overview

About This Treatment

Endo Lift at StyleAge refers to Endolift® - a minimally invasive laser procedure, not an open surgical facelift. A fibre roughly the width of a hair is passed under the skin through a tiny entry point. It delivers 1470 nm laser energy into the subdermal layer, where the wavelength is strongly absorbed by water and fat.

That energy can produce immediate collagen fibre contraction, progressive collagen remodelling over following months, and reduction of small volumes of localised fat - commonly used for the jawline, under-chin (submental) area, and neck, and in selected body areas such as arms or abdomen when laxity is mild to moderate.

Published evidence is promising for mild-to-moderate laxity, particularly the lower face and submental region, but Endolift is not a substitute for surgical lifting when there is significant skin excess or advanced banding. At StyleAge we recommend it only when candidacy matches what the technology can realistically deliver.

How It Works

Energy Under the Skin - Not on the Surface

Unlike surface devices that heat from above, Endolift places energy where the operator guides the fibre. Controlled heating encourages tissue tightening and neo-collagenesis, while selective effects on fat can refine small deposits under the chin or along early jowls.

Treatment is usually performed under local anaesthetic as an outpatient procedure. There are no surgical excisions and typically no stitches - entry points are minimal.

Candidacy

Who It Suits - and Who Needs Surgery Instead

Better candidates have mild to moderate skin laxity, localised fat with reasonable skin quality, and realistic expectations for progressive improvement. It can suit patients who want to avoid or delay surgery, or who have plateaued on injectables and surface devices.

It is not ideal for marked skin redundancy, advanced platysmal separation, or large-volume fat reduction - those cases usually need surgical lifting or liposuction. Active infection, certain bleeding risks, and other medical factors may also rule treatment out until cleared.

Evidence

What Results Usually Look Like

Some tightening can be noticed early from thermal collagen contraction, but the fuller result builds as collagen remodels. Many patients see meaningful change over about 4–8 weeks, with continued improvement commonly through 3–6 months - some reports describe further refinement later in the first year.

Mild swelling, bruising, tenderness, or temporary firmness can occur. Serious complications are uncommon in published series when technique and candidacy are sound, but uneven contour or prolonged swelling can happen. Your consultation covers risks honestly.

Process

How It Works

  1. 1

Consultation assesses laxity, fat pockets, skin quality, and whether Endolift or surgery is the better path.

  2. 2

Treatment areas are marked; local anaesthetic is used for comfort.

  3. 3

A fine laser fibre is introduced beneath the skin and guided through the planned plane.

  4. 4

1470 nm energy is delivered to tighten tissue and address small fat volumes as indicated.

  5. 5

Aftercare focuses on swelling control, activity guidance, and follow-up as collagen remodels.

Advantages

Key Benefits

Minimally invasive - tiny entry points, typically no surgical excision or stitches

Targets mild-to-moderate laxity and small fat pockets from beneath the skin

Often used for jawline, under-chin, and neck refinement

Local anaesthetic outpatient procedure with relatively short downtime

Results build progressively as collagen remodels over months

Can bridge the gap for patients not ready for surgical lifting

Candidacy

Who Is This For?

  • Adults with mild to moderate facial or body laxity and localised fat
  • Those seeking tightening without open surgical lifting
  • Patients with realistic expectations for gradual, not instantaneous, change
  • Individuals cleared after medical assessment for laser under local anaesthetic

Your Visit

What to Expect

Before

  • Assessment to confirm Endolift suitability versus surgical lifting or liposuction
  • Review of medical history, medications, and any fillers or prior procedures in the area
  • Agreement on treatment zones and expected downtime
  • Follow any pre-care instructions provided by your specialist

During

  • Local anaesthetic for comfort at entry points and along the treatment plane
  • Fine fibre passed under the skin to deliver controlled 1470 nm laser energy
  • Session typically 30–90 minutes depending on areas treated
  • Immediate aftercare guidance before you leave

After

  • Mild swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness is common for days to about two weeks
  • Most patients resume light routine within a few days as advised
  • Avoid heat, intense exercise, and pressure on treated areas until cleared
  • Attend follow-up; expect progressive tightening over the following months

Outcomes

Expected Results

Some firmness or lift can appear early from collagen contraction, but the main improvement usually develops over 4–8 weeks and continues through about 3–6 months as neo-collagenesis progresses. Peak refinement is often assessed later in the first year. Endolift does not stop ageing; maintenance or complementary treatments may be discussed based on your result and goals.
